Where do you shop for organic food??? Let's get a list of great places besides Whole Foods to find our favorite organic items.

I actually am finding more and more at Publix and Kroger...especially in the Dairy aisle. Still have to go to WF or Trader Joe's for fruits and veggies.

Well, farmers markets are definitely great sources; practically every Atlanta neighborhood has one. Dekalb's, however, stands above the rest. It's pretty awesome. For starters, it's indoors, which I think makes shopping far more enjoyable, and it's huge. Plus, it always has great organic, locally grown options in the fruits/veggies departments.

Check out http://georgiaorganics.org/ for info on all the different sources of organic food in GA.  They have a great directory of local farms, CSAs, farmers markets, community gardens, and restaurants that serve local and organic.

It may have snowed over the weekend, but in reality we are only weeks away from Spring. Good news for shopping at the local farmer's markets which should be back in operation in late March or early April.  I like Peachtree Road Farmer's market in the parking lot of St. Phillip's Cathedral which is open on Saturday mornings until 11:30 am.  Another good one is Morningside Farmer's Market, open year-round on Saturday mornings.  Where do you like to shop for local produce??
