Accessing Content on Lens on Atlanta

You can view content on Lens on Atlanta without having a Lens on Atlanta account. You also can contact us directly through the “Contact Us” page without having to register for an account.

Your Lens on Atlanta Account

You are required to register for a Lens on Atlanta account for some activities like commenting on blogs and forums; creating blogs, groups and wikis; uploading media (photos, video, audio); and flagging content. PBA asks for some personal information when you create an account, including your e-mail address and password, which is used to protect your account against unauthorized access.

Usage

When you register an account with Lens on Atlanta, PBA may record information about your usage of the site, such as the groups you join, blogs you follow, your communication with other members, and information you include about yourself. If you are logged onto your account, PBA may associate this information with your Lens on Atlanta account.


Age

Users of Lens on Atlanta must be 13 years of age or older. If a prospective user attempts to register with Lens on Atlanta and indicates that they are under the age of 13, we will not allow such registration to continue and will delete all information relating to such prospective user other than the name and e-mail address for purposes of cross-referencing any future attempts to register.


User Generated Content

Any personal information or content that you voluntarily disclose to the community online (such as comments and your profile page) may be collected and used by others, including but not limited to PBA and other community members.

Uses

If you submit personal information to Lens on Atlanta, PBA may use it to operate, maintain and improve the features and functionality of Lens on Atlanta and to process any flagging activity or other communication that you send to PBA.


PBA will not use your e-mail address or other personal information to send commercial or marketing messages without your consent. PBA may use your e-mail address without further consent for non-marketing or administrative purposes (such as customer service or notifying you about upgrades and changes to the Lens on Atlanta site). You may opt-in to receive e-marketing materials, such as the Lens on Atlanta e-newsletter, which may include news and information about PBA, WABE, WPBA and Lens on Atlanta initiatives. Public Information
